Before you make your portrait

Upload one clear photo of your pet and choose the Merry Christmas Card style. PetImage places your pet in the centre of a card framed with evergreen garland, pine cones, red berries and warm lights, with “Merry Christmas” written across the bottom. The result is a finished card image you can text, email, post or print.

Want a different look? The Santa Paws, Christmas Sweater, Snowy Winter and Victorian Christmas Painting styles create portraits without text, so you can add your family name, a photo-card frame or your own greeting in any card or photo editor.

To print, download the HD image (about 1800 × 2400 pixels) and order 5 × 7 inch cards from a photo shop or online printer, or print at home on card stock. PetImage creates the digital image only and does not print or mail cards.

You can see a free watermarked preview first without signing up. Your first HD portrait is free with an account; after that each portrait is one credit, starting at $2.99.

A few useful details

Can I change the greeting text on the card?

Not inside PetImage. The Merry Christmas Card style always writes “Merry Christmas”. For a custom message, choose a style without text and add your words in a card editor.

What size is the card image?

Portraits download at about 1800 × 2400 pixels in a 3:4 shape, which prints sharply as a 5 × 7 inch card or up to roughly 8 × 10 inches.

Can you print and mail the cards for me?

No. PetImage creates the digital card image. Download it and print through any photo shop, online printer or at home.

Can I put two pets on one card?

Each card is made from one pet photo. Create one image per pet and combine them in a card editor for a family card.
